Why Hadassah Marketplace?
There is a famous African proverb, “If you educate a woman, you educate a nation.” When we empower women to live out their purpose, their communities and families are also changed. We wanted to create a space where products are purchased with intention. Empowerment and individuality meet in this marketplace to produce a product and be a breeding ground for hope and creativity.
Hadassah Marketplace gives an opportunity to flourish to those who are otherwise exploited. We sources fair trade hand-crafted artisan goods with partnerships worldwide. We also work with individuals in Ethiopia to empower them through personal growth and small business startups.
Our Mission
Our mission is to be an agent of change to reverse the effects of human trafficking by empowering those most vulnerable to exploitation to change their lives.
